Today is a good day for a new start; the first school day after the clocks went back and the sun is shining. It's shining into SW1 and I've even pulled up the blinds to see it, it's causing a lot of glare and will be annoying my colleagues but I really don't care. I look out of my window and all I can see is a sunny brick wall and a wee strip of sky but I don't care, I am happy. She makes me happy, but I don't think even she can make the sun shine.
The view from the 'bridge:
- Teachers hate going back after half term too. My mate was almost in tears at the prospect of seing the kids this morning.
- Getting up early is good for your soul.
- Putting too much cream and brown sugar turns your porridge into pudding, making for an interesting start to the day.
